Let It Snow!

This time of year is so much fun and so many memories are made. The holiday season started out with a great Thanksgiving with family and friends. The Sunday before Thanksgiving we had a great Friendsgiving with our good friends. They are such great people and they are all like family to us.

The following day my parents came and visited for the week. It was so nice to see them and we had a very yummy Thanksgiving dinner, thanks to my mom.
Bryton loved the mashed potatoes. They have always been my favorite too!

As December arrived, so did the snow. We have been lucky to have two extra days home with Austin for snow days. The first snow day was one of the best days we have had in a long time. We baked and decorated cookies, read books, had hot chocolate, decorated our Christmas tree, took a walk in the snow, and put both kids on the sled and ran up and down the street.  It was amazing and we stressed about NOTHING! That is probably why it was so special.

Annabel's first time baking cookies. She loved it!
 Bryton's first time seeing snow!
They both loved the sled rides.

Here are some other fun pictures from the last few weeks:

 Laundry basket rides !
Getting our Christmas tree at Home Depot.
So cute having both of them on the playground.
Having frozen mango in mesh pouches. Both love it.
Christmas hat brownies at a play date.
My little princess in her heals.
She thought is was still Thanksgiving.
Annabel created this during her quiet time all by herself. I was so impressed.

 My little loves!

Gobble Gobble

"Gobble Gobble Gobble......oh Gobble Gobble Gobble" - There is a lot of singing and dancing to this going on at our house recently. Annabel is loving all the fun crafts and songs associated with Thanksgiving. At school they are learning about pilgrims and Thanksgiving. Both at school and in my mom's group, Annabel has had the opportunity to create some fun crafts.

Annabel made this at "Lunch Bunch" at school. She said it was a goldfish.
Annabel made these at my "Mommy's Group"
Annabel and I made these together at home.
 Turkey play date.
Turkey Play date.

Bryton is crawling everywhere and puts every little speck in his mouth. It could be something I can barely see and he tries to eat it. He is pulling himself up in his crib and Pack N Play. He is standing everywhere while holding on to something. He loves the little kid's gym we go to. I think it is his special place :) He will be 10 months this week!! I get sad just thinking about it. It is hard for me to think about Christmas and get in the spirit because I know that means Bryton is almost a year old. I just cannot think about it.
 Ariel watch out!!
 Getting into everything!
Playing at the mall play area.
 Starting to climb!
 First time wearing shoes.
Loves crawling around the coffee table.
My little old man in his cardigan.
 Loves bath time.
The gym is his happy place :)
 New friends.
I did it!!

Annabel and Bryton are having more fun together. Here are some fun pictures from the week.

Annabel got to touch Houdini at the library this week.
 I think she is obsessed!

Bryton 9 Months/ Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween (a little late!) The kids had a great Halloween season. We did so many fun things and Annabel loved to dress up. Austin thought she might think it was normal to go around in a flower costume because she wore it so much. I was able to help out at her Halloween party at school. It was so fun to see her with her peers and teachers. She is so SHY!!! It is kind of strange to see. I was very proud of her, she listened to everything her teachers said to do and was so happy.
Annabel and Owen having a moment :)

Bryton turned 9 MONTHS on the 21st!  His personality is starting show and he is moving and a grooving. We went to his 9 month appointment and he is doing great :) Weight: about 16 1/2 lbs (3%), Height: 26 in (10%), Head: 50%. He is crawling everywhere and getting very interested in looking at the stairs. He loves pulling himself up and standing while holding something. The only time he gets really upset is if I take some food away from him. He LOVES Annabel! We are continuing to work on sharing with both of them. It is a struggle to teach a 2 1/2 year old that all the toys that used to be just hers are now hers and her brothers. I tried to upload a video, but it did not work. Bryton's crawl now looks like a gorilla. It makes me laugh every time!
So happy!
My hair is getting a little out of control.
 Play date with Molly.
Don't let Annabel know I am playing with her car!
My little rocker.

Annabel is doing great. She makes me laugh constantly. She is currently working on giving up her nap and it is going to give me gray hair. I must have to go up to her room 10 times each nap. She is either screaming or needs something. We have not quite grasped "quiet time." I am trying to teach her, but it is not working out too well. I end up having to let her play in the basement (which she still comes up the steps every 2 minutes) because she wakes up Bryton upstairs. Hopefully we will get through this craziness soon.
Her necklaces are on at all times!
 My diva.
She still carries around this Valentine's Day card from Mimi and Papa.
 Running at the park.
"Mommy I'm Tired" - resting on the tree.
My silly goose.

Here are some pictures of the both of them together :)
Playing "Night, Night" - sorry I could not pick just one :)
