I am slacking with the blog and I apologize. We have had exciting/scary/fun couple of weeks :)
Basically the only way she will eat her lunch is in muffin wrappers.
Family day at the playground.
I did not realize her underwear and skirt were too big until we got to the mall. This is how she had to walk around. Haha
Annabel has become quite the chatterbox. It is amazing all the new things she is saying. The other day Austin came home from work and Annabel just blurted out, "Go Pats!" It made Austin's day. I just love to sneak and watch her play with her toys. She talks to all of them. Sometimes she is nice to them and sometimes not so nice and puts them in timeout. (maybe she has been there a little too much recently!) She even tried to put Papi in timeout. She is loving school and always wants to go back as soon as we leave. This past Thursday she was able to stay for extended day at school. She got to bring her lunch and play for a couple hours longer. I was very nervous, but she seemed to have a lot of fun. I feel she has really developed in the past couple of weeks and it is taking a toll on her sleeping (and ours!) She is having a hard time going to bed and is waking up at least three times a night. We are not sure what is going on, but hope it passes quickly. The doctor said her imagination is waking her up.

Play date at the zoo.
Bryton turned 8 months this past week. He is going through a little bit of a frustration stage. He wants to get around, but cannot totally figure it out. He has started to sit up on his own, stand with a toy, and move a little to get some toys. He cries a lot because he cannot get to something. I will be happy when he can figure it out. Today he seemed much better and when we were in the basement he was moving all around to get toys. I think he was much happier with himself.
Getting so big!I love it when he is this happy.
"Come on, you can do it." - Annabel
So proud.
The day he turned 8 months, this is what I walked into. Him sitting up startled me.
I love watching Annabel and Bryton start to interact with one another.
Holding hands waiting for school.
I love Bryton's face in this picture.
Uh oh! Watch out!
Austin had some great news this week. His school had huge improvements on their state testing. The school has really turned around and I think Austin is a huge part of their success. I am very proud of him and the school.
I started to work for Julie Pogue Properties a couple weeks ago and it has been a lot of fun so far and I am learning a lot. I am very excited for what is to come. I did have a little bit of a scare this past week and normally I would not share, but people need to be aware of their skin. I freckles all over and I noticed a new one and new odd looking one last week. I called my doctor to get them checked out and they got me right in. They were very concerned with one of the areas and told me it either had to do with hormones or melanoma. Those are on different ends of the spectrum and I was very scared for the results. I had to wait a week to get my results and thankfully it was nothing to worry about. The other one removed was a little peculiar, but they are going to get it all removed to prevent further problems. I am pretty private about these types of things, but I wanted to thank everyone that prayed for me and to remind you to check your skin periodically!!
