Hello Fall!

This fall has been a fun and beautiful time of year. We have kept busy with school, activities, play dates and hanging out together at home. We have had awesome weather and have been able to play outside in our yard a lot. This time of year is so much fun with all the Halloween activities and fall festivals.

 Halloween costumes 2014!
All dressed up for brunch! No, we did not style his hair like that!

 They love each other!
Daddy had to work over the weekend, so we met him for lunch. Lunch in the teacher's lounge :)
Getting our new play set off Craigslist.
 Finished product!
Boo at the Zoo with their buddies.

 Picking Pumpkins!

Neighborhood Halloween party. Bryton did not like the feel of the hay.
Is it child labor if they like doing it?

Annabel is loving school and has met some nice new friends this year. We went to open house and Annabel was going bonkers because she was so excited we were there. Her teachers said they have never seen her act that way :) It was so relieving to see her so happy. She is talking more at school and telling me about her day when she gets home. Annabel has started tap/ballet class and I think she has found her three year old calling in life. She has it once a week and just loves it. She asks me to put her hair in a bun each week, just like real ballerinas. Annabel has also started swimming at the YMCA. She goes two evenings a week and I am hoping by the summer that she is more confident in the water. Her favorite things at home right now are doing "art projects", coloring, making forts, reading books, and playing with Bryton. Annabel has moved into a new big girl bedroom in the basement and she is the queen of the house :) She is very very talkative at home and loves to ask questions! She is working on learning her letters and is doing a great job. She soaks in everything!

Our little ballerina!

 School picture day.

Getting ready for brunch with her bestie Owen.

Annabel got a special ice cream treat because she slept until the sun came up!

Silly goose at the play ground.
 Argh! Me Matey's - Halloween Costume 2014
 Practicing her letters.
Obstacle course at the fall festival.
Creating her fort.... Austin then made the kid's tents to help them not destroy each room. This did not help haha~
Loving her new big bed and room.
 Making Halloween cookies.
This picture makes me laugh every time I see it.....swim lessons!

Bryton is definitely all boy and becoming more and more adventurous. Three things we are working on getting through right now are: hating our car seat, yelling, and getting teeth. These three things might put me in the nut house! The poor guy is trying to talk, but yelling must seem easier. He is so funny and makes me laugh everyday. He is very loving and super adorable. His favorite things right now are pushing the toy stroller or mower, cars, food, and his blankie....which he recently started calling mimi??? We have to keep a close on this little guy at all times. I turned my head for a second the other day and he was two houses down and pushing his mower into the neighbor's garage.

Getting to be such a big boy....first time wearing jeans!
 Loves pushing Annabel!
Playing together at the play ground.
 Cutest sleeper ever!

His hair is getting a little out of control!
 Reading time.
Painting with a one year old is.....interesting!!!
Longest stretch he has watched tv.....2 minutes!
Someone was having a rough day.
All boy with the pink stroller!
Saying hi to daddy.

School is back in session....

Summer break has come to an end and I am determined to keep this blog going. It has been a crazy, but fun, summer.

Summer Recap:

- We sold and bought a new house in Louisville. We are missing our old house and neighborhood, but we are absolutely loving our new home! We moved from a very lively area to a nice family friendly neighborhood. I think it will be a great fit for our family as we continue to grow :)
-  With that being said, we are expecting baby Allain #3 in January. I am a little over halfway there and we are getting nervous and excited. We are not finding out if it is a boy or a girl, so that leaves us with a huge surprise! Annabel believes it is a girl and named the baby Kate, but now the baby is Sandy...after the dog in the movie Annie. She somewhat understands that the baby will come when it snows and after Santa comes. It is a lot of fun with her having a little bit of an understanding as to what is happening. She would like for the baby to share a room with her.
- Uncle Noel (Austin's Brother) got married over the summer to the most lovely girl, Mary. Austin and I were able to get away for the weekend alone to celebrate the big event in NY. We are so happy for both Noel and Mary and so excited for Mary to be a part of our family :)
- Daddy started back up at Lowe Elementary and is loving it. I feel it is a great fit for him and we are very lucky. We have attended many school events as a whole family, which has been a lot of fun. Annabel is excited to go to school with daddy when she is five!
- Annabel started back to school and is in the 3 day 3's class; which meets on MWF.  Annabel seems to be really enjoying school and meeting a lot of new friends. When she gets home she pretend plays things they did in school. Yesterday we played the "Name Game" for about 30 minutes. She was the teacher and mommy, daddy, and Bryton were the students. It was too funny!
- Bryton started PDO and goes to the same school as Annabel on Wednesdays. I am not sure if he is loving it, but he has only been two times.
- ANNABEL: she is at an awesome age! She is so funny and chatty. The only downside we are having right now is figuring out our day with no nap. She does not nap and Bryton can nap up to three hours, so we have a long afternoon together while we wait for him to wake up. She loves doing crafts, reading books, very interested in ballet, likes the show Sesame Street, and still not the best sleeper. Upcoming events: first soccer game is tomorrow and starts ballet on Tuesday. She is totally pumped!
- BRYTON: funny, adorable, mess! He is our destroyer :) He throws everything, eats anything, and loves to run like his sister. He thinks it is absolutely hilarious to run away from me. He has the most adorable grin....gets me every time! Bryton is saying a lot more words, but still very much a yeller. He had his first round of antibiotics this past week for a sinus infection, but seems to be doing a lot better. He is not the best sleeper these days and sometimes the only thing that calms him down in the middle of the night is if we change his diaper or at least lay him on his changing pad. He is such a goof!
Annabel went to a week long summer art camp. She loved it and brought home a lot of fun art pieces.

Watch out! Two crazy kids driving a bus!
Noel and Mary's Wedding Celebration
We were able to spend some special time with our niece Harlan. She is so cute and a lot of fun!
Austin had them performing while I was working.

 All sass :)
 But pure cuteness too....viscous combo!
Just want to eat him up!
 Fun in the sprinkler.
 Always has jewelry on.
Just a little tea party for Minnie. I think he is confused about the furniture.
 Loves getting her picture taken.
Poor sick boy...glad he is feeling better.
Ready for ballet. She makes me put on a Pandora ballet station on so she can dance.
 Go Lowe!
First pony ride at a church festival.
Washing her toys while Bryton sleeps.
Fun with friends!
