New things/things going on:
Bryton: waving/pointing, attempting the stairs, walking with something, one front tooth popped through and the other front tooth is well on its way, mastered the "more" hand gesture, and loves food! There has not been one thing he has refused to eat. Loves the bath and loves to stand up in the bath.
Annabel: Saying new things everyday. Last child standing on New Years Eve. By 10:30, we had to leave our party just to get her to go to bed. Barely napping (please help me!). Loves princess' everything. Has a new big girl twin bed. Has eaton two pieces of salad...that is a breakthrough. Likes taking showers.
Break was very long and we did so many fun things, I am going to share our special time through our pictures.
We started off the holiday season with a visit to see Santa Clause. I was so proud of how they sat on his lap.
This was another time we saw Santa and Annabel just wanted to wave. Bryton was very interested in his beard.
Annabel had a Christmas show at school. She did a great job! So funny when she pulled up her dress.
Annabel and Daddy making a treat for our neighbors.
Yeah! A picture of Annabel and I :)
Christmas party!
All ready for Christmas Eve mass.
This is the best we could do for a family shot. One of Austin and the kids and one with me and the kids. Photoshop maybe?? haha
The two best gifts of all!
Christmas morning! They loved everything!! I love the look at Annabel's face when she saw the dresses. We hid this gift in another room, until all the gifts were open. She was amazed.
The day after Christmas we went to Boston to visit Austin's side of the family. We had a great time and it was so fun to see our family and see the kids play with their cousin Harlan. Flying there was quite an adventure. On the first flight of the day, Annabel threw-up for the first time in her life all over the seat and me. They had to replace the entire seat and seat belts. It was not the best start. Thank goodness we had an extra change of clothes for her. She was quite happy after the incident. The rest of our trip was amazing and we can't wait to go back.
Bryton hanging out with one of his godfathers, Uncle Noel. Noel and Mary were there for most of the our trip. Good thing Bryton is so cute, he had them up each night crying.
Grandma cuddling with Annabel.
The cousins playing together. Annabel and Harlan had a blast together. Annabel would run around the house and Harlan would just follow her laughing. It was really cute.
Bryton and Aunt Jess.
Annabel loved when grandpa read to her.
Mary and Bryton :) She was very good with both of them.
Grandma dancing with Bryton.
Austin was so happy to be with his parents.
How cute!
Annabel had everyone reading to her. Grandma and Mary I think take the cake for reading the most books.
Truly happy brothers!
All the kids got to go out one night, while grandma and grandpa watched Annabel and Bryton. I have to say this was the strangest dinner I have encountered. Pig bones and bone marrow were consumed (by others) !! That might big common in the big city!
Uncle Mike and Bryton. Mike had the magic touch.
Austin misses them!!
Uncle Noel saying goodbye to Bryton.
Grandma watching a movie with Annabel.
Bryton looks quite relaxed in grandpa's arms.
Here are a couple more cute pictures to end our Christmas break :)
Just laying on the kitchen floor eating Cheerios. So excited he can wear his Nike gear. It is a bit big, but works.
Too funny! Don't tell Austin :)
Bryton's hair is getting out of control.
And getting very curly.
My precious, crazy girl.
They are starting to play together.
Hey handsome...when did you get so big???
Somebody looks well rested...she napped for seven days straight! On day two of no naps now :O
I wish everyone a happy and safe new year :)
