Finley is 2 months!

Two months has flown by with our newest addition to the family. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that time flies too fast. I would lie if I said that life is peaches and cream right now, but I am trying to stay in the moment. It is hard trying to meet the needs of three little people :) They each mean the world to me and I would not want it any other way!!

Annabel:

My sweet girl is almost 4! I am currently in the planning process for her 4th birthday and it makes me sad. I remember the day I had her and it is bringing tears to my eyes just writing this. Her favorite things right now are swimming, playing outside, and changing her outfits. She has improved so much in the water and practices so hard. She is going to have so much fun this summer at the pool. She has started to become quite the social butterfly. When we take her to the YMCA, she is playing with different kids all time. She loves to play with students from Austin's school. She has also started playing with our neighbors outside. The fact that she can go outside and play with different kids is one of the main reasons we moved. We have begun to make great friendships in our neighborhood and it is exciting to see what the future will bring.

This is how she came to dinner last night.

Bryton

B man is my crazy, loving, maniac of a boy :) He is so much fun and loves one on one attention. He is as sweet at can be when we are playing together. His favorite things right now: being outside, airplanes, swinging, buses, swimming. I am so excited for the warm weather to be here and to let him run, run, run outside. Being in our backyard is the best place to be right now. The kids can play with all their toys and run everywhere. Bryton is trying to talk more and more. His speech is still difficult to understand, but he is trying very hard to communicate. The cutest new word he says is "alright." When I ask him to do something, this is how he replies. This past weekend he was pretty sick for about 24 hours. It was the most miserable I have seen him and it broke my heart. He even fell asleep in the car...miracle!
He just became interested in the big kid swings.
Poor guy did not feel well.
 More himself here :)
He still LOVES his fingers!

Finley:

Oh my other sweet girl. She is getting so big (in my eyes) and so cute. I took her for her two month check up last week and she looked great! She weighed 8.6 pounds (4%), Height: 21.5 in (18%), Head: 38.1 cm (32%). She is currently in 0-3m/3m clothes. She seems quite long to me and has extra long arms :) The doctor said she has tracheomalacia...which explains why she sounds horse sometimes and is very loud when sleeping. They said it should resolve on its own within a year. It is nothing to worry about, so that made me feel better. She is still not too fond of mornings (cries a lot), but seems to be doing better in the evenings. She is waking 1-2 times / night and is still sleeping in her rock and play. She absolutely hates her car seat. She cries every time in it. She has started to smile more and loves Annabel and Bryton. They love getting her toys and when she smiles at them. Finley has rolled from her tummy to her back and from her back to her tummy. The other day I put her on her play mat and I turned back and she had completed a 180 degree turn....she is going to be right there with her brother and sister before I know it. CRAZY!
Never too early to sit up with the big kids.
 Look at those muscles.

 MIRACLE!
This is how she spends most afternoons

 Happy St. Patrick's Day
2 month appointment...happy before her shots!

Snow, Snow Go Away!

We have had quite the end of winter. Up until just recently, our winter has been pretty boring with minimal snow. Mother Nature really ramped it up the past month. We have had two big snow storms, with over 20 inches of snow = CABIN FEVER!! It has been pretty tough on everyone, but on the positive side we did get a couple extra days with Austin home.

Annabel:
The worker at the YMCA put it perfectly - "Look at all that sass in that tiny body!" She waltzes into the Y (in outfits that are AMAZING) likes she owns that place and whenever we come to pick her up she is playing with all the big kids (usually a group of elementary boys). We are in trouble! She is chatty from the moment she gets up to the moment she goes to sleep. She wakes up at 6:30 every morning and the first thing she does is get dressed. some of the outfits are cute and others make me bite my tongue. The words we have been working on recently is patience and patient.

The Fashionista:

And yes...she goes out in public like this!

Bryton:
Our crazy man...to put it lightly. We have to keep a very close eye on this little guy. He is having a hard time expressing himself in positive ways. He is hitting, biting, and yelling to get his point across. He is all boy and 2...what can I expect :) He also makes me smile and laugh all the time. He has a goofy side about him and a twinkle in his eye. Bryton is trying to talk more and more and tries to read his books with me. He still has not mastered the whole sleeping in his bed thing. He falls asleep next to his door and we have to move him to his bed. Before he goes to bed and when he wakes up, he goes to his door and lays down and kicks it......it is very loud!!!

This picture describes him perfectly!
 He loves Finley!
He is into hats these days...even if it is pink.

All over the floor.

Finley:
Our little munchkin is getting big so quickly...time is flying by. I need a stop button. Finley is doing well for the most part. She is not the happiest baby, which makes me a little sad. She cries most of the day, but sleeps pretty good at night. I cannot take her many places with the kids because she cries the whole time. We had to take her to the ER in the middle of the night about a week ago because she kept choking and gasping for air in the middle of the night. She ended up having an upper respiratory infection and is still struggling with it now. Here are her stats from her 1 month (at 5 weeks) appointment- Weight 7.7 (6%) Height 21 in. (37%) Head 36 cm (18%). She is growing great! We have been able to capture a couple smiles too.

Sorry picture overload!

Here are a few pictures of the kids together.

We were able to get outside one afternoon...even if it was raining!
