We started our trip with a drive to visit my sister's family for two nights. They were able to meet Bryton and Annabel loves playing with her cousins.
Bryton and Ben Swinging.
Ben is trying to teach Bryton how to sit-up on his own.
Breakfast together :)
The gang!
Our next leg of our trip was to Hilton Head. Austin had a conference there and we thought it would be fun to bring the whole family. That part of the trip did not go as planned, and I ended up leaving a day early to go to Saint Simons with the kids. It was hard having all of us in one room to sleep and Bryton was not sleeping well at all.
I brought the kid's to Saint Simons for a day and then I left and picked up Austin and we headed to Savannah for two nights to celebrate our 4th wedding Anniversary. We were very grateful that Mimi and Papa could watch the kids. This is the first time since Annabel was born that we went away. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed our sleep :)
We went to Tybee Island for the day. It was so nice to sit on the beach and read a book.
Anniversary dinner.
After our getaway I headed back to Saint Simons and Austin headed to Boston for a wedding. Austin returned a few days later and his parents came with him to visit for a few days. Saint Simons was wonderful. It is so peaceful and beautiful. My parents were amazing and they helped out so much with the kids. It was great having both sets of grandparents together for the kids, but also for us. We were able to do so many fun things and I was able to visit with family. I have tons of pictures, but I only picked a few (or more) to post.

Annabel loved the Puddle Jumper our friend let us borrow.
Ready to go swimming.
Annabel caught a virus for a couple of days on our trip, but she was pampered with love.

Bryton loved the beach and the water.
Pizza night!
Annabel got a haircut on Saint Simons. She sat so still in the chair, I was amazed!
This about sums up Annabel and Grandpa. She loved him from afar.

Papa took Annabel down the big slide. Annabel went down the slides over and over again!

Taking a rest. They were just hanging out together.
Spoiled by her Grandma and Mimi. I think she could get used to this.

Fourth of July!
Flying her first kite on the beach.
So happy together.
We had an amazing trip and we are sad it is over, but we will keep those memories forever!
We have been home a week and we are already out and about into our normal routine. Our air condition went out before we left for our trip and we did not get a new one until this past Wednesdays. It was so hot in our house, that our candles were melting. We are very happy to not be sweating now. We are enjoying our last full week with daddy being home and we are taking advantage of every minute. We have been on play dates, a birthday party, visited the zoo, and organizing our house.
I pulled out my old Barbies for Annabel to play with and she loves them!
Bryton has graduated from his mat :( He rolls around all over the place. This morning I put him on this blanket and I went into the kitchen to get a snack and came back in and he had made his way off the blanket and was trying to eat the tv stand. CRAZY!
This is hilarious. I put Annabel in her room to play and I put Bryton in his crib (to be safe!) and I went downstairs to make sure our bag was ready for the zoo. I came back up and this is what I found!
Future wedding picture?!? This is Bryton with his sweet friend Molly.
Annabel looks up to her friend Cecilia so much. Cecilia was not sure why Annabel was hugging her.
Birthday party fun at the park!
I am sorry this blog is so long, but I this is three weeks + worth of time. Bryton and Annabel are both doing great. Annabel is hilarious and makes me laugh so much. It is so funny now that she speaks her mind. Last night I was carrying her to bed on my back and she said, "giddy up!" She also asks, "what are you doing?" ALL THE TIME! Bryton is getting so big and moving around a lot. He is already trying to push up on his legs to get around. I wish he could stay put in one place for just a little bit longer. They laugh at one another and interact so much more. Bryton is almost 6 months old and it is going by way too fast. He loves his exersaucer and rolling around on his blanket. About 80% of the time he is awake he is motor boating with his lips and tongue. The other 20% of the time he has his hand in his mouth. His hair is growing in a little bit and it is becoming lighter. Austin goes back to work next Wednesday and we will really miss him.
