Snowed Out!

It has been a long and cold February and start to March. Our lives are a little crazy right now, so my posts have slowed down...sorry! So far, Austin has had 11 snow days this school year. At this rate, summer is going bye bye for him :( We do enjoy the time that he is home with us!! The kids are doing great and are handling the cabin fever well.

We were so lucky to have my sister and her family come visit us over Valentine's Day weekend. The kids and adults had so much fun. It was a short visit, but we packed it in with a lot of fun things. They came on a Friday night and we let the kids play, while we caught up. On Saturday we went to the Science Center in the morning and sledding in the afternoon. The kids were exhausted Saturday night, so we put them to bed early and had a nice relaxing evening hanging out. We were so grateful they made the trip. Annabel LOVED her cousins and still talks about them all time! I wish we lived closer :(

Sledding time!

Annabel and Bryton have been getting along so well. Hitting is still involved, but for the most part they enjoy each other's company.  New things:  Annabel has a nice new black eye, she is beginning to enjoy soccer, vocabulary has really grown, can identify her name, trying to color in the lines, I am sure there is more. Bryton is WALKING, he points at everything, dances to music, bear crawls, and loves to put things in cars and pushes them around. Bryton's favorite toy currently: the remote control.
