Christmas 2014

We had a fantastic Christmas this year. It was very low key and we had a lot of great family time. Austin worked Christmas Eve, but we were able to go to Christmas Eve mass and come home in time to get ready for Santa's arrival. We put yummy cookies out for Santa and we spread reindeer food on the front yard. On Christmas morning we woke up to the astonishment of many presents under the tree. Annabel and Bryton opened some presents, we then made a very yummy breakfast, and then continued to open more presents. We took our time and relaxed all morning. Once we were finished we found a note from Santa in my stocking. He had left one more toy in the garage. We went to the garage and inside was a motorized car for the kids. The weather was warm enough for us to bundle up and head outside to test out the new car. The weather was so nice, we went on a nice family walk around the neighborhood before nap time/quiet time. Then all afternoon the kids played with all their new toys. We have a tradition of getting a nice honey baked ham for Christmas day dinner and Austin makes twice baked potatoes. It was a delicious feast and all were tired and pooped. We ended the day with a family movie, Finding Nemo, and it was off to bed. We were all very blessed and thankful for such a wonderful day.

Annabel and Bryton were able to open one gift on Christmas Eve. Annabel got some cool Magnatiles from Grandma and Grandpa.
Annabel got to open a bag of books from Santa while we waited for Bryton to wake up.
Bryton got a fun trampoline from Mimi and Papa.
